Create pipelines to do more with data in Quickbase. You can do things like connect to other pipelines, another cloud-based software, or connect data between third-party tools.
Pipelines are made up of:
- Pipeline—the overall workflow that is defined and automated by builders
- Channel—a third-party service or built-in function used to configure a Pipeline
- Step—the individual building blocks of business logic within a Pipeline
- Channel—a third-party service or built-in function used to configure a Pipeline
Pipelines run in different ways:
- Triggered—started by a specific event in realtime
- Scheduled—started according to a schedule
- Manual—run by someone using the Run button
We suggest planning your pipeline before you start building it. Usually, because you have a workflow you're automating, this doesn't take too long.
