To better manage the list of applications that displays on your My Apps page, you may want to classify applications of the same type within categories. By categorizing applications, you can then sort and group applications that belong together. Doing so can help you find what you're looking for when you visit the My Apps page.
Note: Categories are personal settings. The categories you create won't appear to other users. They display only on your My Apps page.
To add a category for an application:
On My Apps, switch to the details view:
On the application row, click in the Category column and select Add.
Type a name for the new category, and then click Ok.
Your new category assignment for that app appears, and the new category appears in the Category column and the Edit categories dialog.
