|Timeout and Firewall issues
I’m getting a TCP timeout error when I’m trying to install and successfully connect the Agent. I checked the Agent’s logs in the Quickbase Pipelines Agent folder and it said something about a 'TCP error 10060'. What is going on?
This likely indicates a TCP timeout error. TCP error 10060 happens when packets are dropped, rather than denied. This is likely an issue at the your network firewall layer. Troubleshoot by checking for following:
|Where should the ODBC Driver be installed?
|The ODBC Driver needs to be configured in the same machine that the Agent is installed on.
|What level of permissions do i need to install the ODBC Driver?
|The user installing the ODBC Driver needs the permissions in their machine to configure settings (your organizations may limit this). If you cannot configure settings, you should reach out to your IT team.
|Question: Where can I find the Logs to check the activity & messages of the Quickbase Pipelines Agent?
There is a Log file that is automatically installed when you configure the Agent on your machine/server. It is located in the C drive, in the “Programs” folder, and then there is a text file with the “Quickbase Pipelines Agent” folder named “Logs”
