Filter apps
The My apps page has a Show filter and a Category filter.
The Category filter displays apps that match categories you assign to them.
The Show filter has three options:
- Apps I can access
- Apps I can edit as an admin
- Apps I've hidden
Super users also have an additional control to show apps they access because of their super user status. Learn more
Search for apps
To search in your app list on the My Apps page:
-
Go to the My Apps page.
-
In the Search apps field, type in the term or app ID you want to find. Quickbase searches for similar app names, app descriptions, and app IDs. It filters the app list as you type.
Your search term can be a text snippet, word, or part of a word that you know appears in an app name. You can also search by app ID.
App searches will not display apps that have been hidden by app admins.
Search tips
- Quickbase matches search terms exactly
- If you search "contact manager," both words must appear in the app name or app description for the search results to include the app
-
Do not use articles, pronouns, prepositions, and other words that are too generic
-
Quickbase discards them before it searches
-
If you search for "a document manager," the search matches the app named "Document Manager" even though the app name does not contain the letter "a"
-
-
To search different variations of a word, search for only the first part of that word
-
Search for purchas to find applications containing the words purchase or purchasing.
-
-
If the search returns no applications, enter a more general term
-
If you search for purchase requisition and no applications are found, search for purchase
-
