This article explains how realm admins link their Quickbase account to an existing or new FastField account, and how to start a FastField trial from Quickbase.
Linking accounts lets you do things like:
- Automatically update Quickbase records from FastField forms
- Sync Quickbase tables with FastField data tables
- Give users single sign-on access (SSO) to FastField using Quickbase login credentials
After you link accounts, users are impacted by how they log in to FastField:
- New FastField users—When a new user is added to your FastField account, they are given a Quickbase account automatically. They must set up a Quickbase username and password and access FastField using the Log in with Quickbase button.
- Current FastField users—Existing users on your FastField account (prior to linking) can still log in to FastField with their FastField login credentials unless a FastField admin syncs their account with Quickbase. If synced, these users must set up a Quickbase username and password and access FastField using the Log in with Quickbase button.
- Realm admin—The realm admin that connected the FastField account to Quickbase must access FastField using the Log in with Quickbase button or the Open FastField button in Quickbase.
You must be an account and realm admin to access the Permissions page and link with FastField or start a trial.

After your trial
If you decide to subscribe to FastField, reach out to your Quickbase Account Executive to discuss pricing options. Your forms and data from your trial will remain in your account for you to keep using after subscribing.
