Data tables in FastField help you manage data that populates in FastField forms as dropdown lists. Use a Quickbase table as the source of a data table by syncing them. Then, any updates to the Quickbase table automatically update the FastField data table and any forms using it.
App admins with access to FastField can set this up on a table's Advanced settings page.
To do this:
- Go to your table's settings and select Advanced settings.
- Under Advanced Table Settings, select Index record changes for integrations
When selected, Quickbase keeps a short-term log of record changes. This syncs data between your Quickbase table and FastField data tables based on that Quickbase table.
When cleared, any FastField forms using data tables based on this Quickbase table are not updated with changes. Existing data is not changed.
