Troubleshooting custom emails
Emails that failed to send
To troubleshoot why an email failed to send, open a support case. In the support case, be sure to include the email ID provided in the error email sent to the app manager and notification owner.
Other email issues
If you need help understanding why an email that is sent is missing content, or any other issue with the email, open a support case.
In the support case, include the x-quickbase-notify-id
found in the email header.
Use the following resources to learn how to view the header in the email:
- Viewing email headers in Outlook
- Viewing email headers in Outlook for Mac
- Viewing email headers in Gmail
The email ID must come from the original email. If you have someone forward you an email with an issue, the ID won't be there.
